The Articles of Association were signed at the city of Morella (Els Ports region) on the 28th day of October 1994 by the 13 rectors of the founding universities that met there. Nowadays, the Vives Network comprises 21 universities that shape a group of more than 440.000 persons formed by 400.000 students, 30.000 teachers and 10.000 administration staff and professionals.
The universities of the Vives Network offer more than 1.400 courses of which 300 are diplomas, 360 are degrees and 740 are doctoral programmes. They also offer 60 universities’ own diplomas and 930 master’s and postgraduate’s degrees. Within the Network, there is place for every area of science: Fine Arts, Humanities, Social Sciences, Educational Sciences, Experimental and Environmental Sciences, Health Science, Architecture, Engineering and Physical Education.
